We believe results speak for themselves.

The 47 Fund prioritizes strong, benchmark-beating returns delivered with low cost, discipline, and focus.

Our Benchmark

We benchmark ourselves against a 70/30 equity / bond blend.

But we also tack the S&P 500 as a high bar – because if you can’t beat it, you may as well buy it.

We do both: strong capital growth and sustainable income to support flexible retirement drawdown.

Capital Growth + dividend income.

Since inception, the 47 Fund has delivered an average annual return of 15.7% over 7 years  (+180%), compared to benchmark annual  return of ~12.5%.

Context Matters.

The last 7 years weren’t a straight bull run. There were crashes, corrections, and real uncertainty  - From COVID pandemic to inflation, supply chain chaos and sharp interest rate hikes.

Thorough it all, The 47 Fund stayed focused. We did nt overreact. We made consistent  rational investment decisions - and that delivered results

Above benchmark returns in a mixed market aren’t easy. They require clarity, discipline and patience. That’s how we invest.

Wins, Losses, Lessons

Yes, there were wins – and there are ones that got away. We sold Rolls Royce too early. Took a loss on Persimmon to reinvest elsewhere. But that’s investing. You won’t call everything perfectly.

What matters to us is the broader picture - measuring fund performance against our goals and staying true to our philosophy.

Despite the missteps. The 47 Fund still delivered 15.7% annualized over 7 years and 180% in total.

And our honest view?

We’ll take those numbers - Thank you. But we will keep building.
